Shapiro’s style, to give a brief anecdote of British history, then make a sidelong connection to Shakespeare and/or an element in the text, is wonderful. Reading the first chapter (and prologue), I was hooked. If I had consumed it differently, I might actually say “great.” Lemme ‘splain. ![]() If all of that seems rather ominous, rest easy. I suppose the same can be said of titles. ![]() You know, they say you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. After the rave reviews it received in the press, how could I not? Especially since I knew the play of the title was just around the corner on this very blog (the past has become present, as we enter King Lear this month). Back in September of last year, I picked up a copy of The Year of Lear : Shakespeare in 1606 by James Shapiro. ![]()

![]() He is having trouble finding the clues after the ones he's found. ![]() But doing this before school is out is causing him to almost fail. He desperately goes over every single clue she's given him. Margo leaving caused Quentin a ton of grief because of the fact that he's in love with her. The night before, she spent the whole night with Quentin on a crazy adventure. The reasoning behind this is, Margo ran away 2 weeks before school was out. The antagonist of the story Paper Towns is, Margo Roth Spiegelman. But no matter what clue or event Margo throws at him to solve he doesn't give up. The reason he's solving them is because nobody has ever solved her clues she's left behind when she ran away. The reason Quentin is the Protagonist is because Margo left behind a trail of clues for Quentin and he's solving them. Quentin is an A+ student, who has 2 friends, Ben Starling and Radar. Coincidentally, he is in love with the most beautiful, popular girl in school Margo Roth Spiegelman. Quentin Jacobsen is considered a "Geek" in high school. The protagonist of the story is Quentin Jacobsen. ![]() ![]() ![]() Even my first published novel: Notes from a Liar and Her Dog was not the least bit autobiographical. I wanted to smack both of them upside the head a lot! Bray's internal dialogue would have calmed some of Becs fears and feelings and vice versa. Becs and Bray have no clue that this new job will lead to complications, not to mention barely restrained desires. ![]() After Becs loses her job, Bray offers her a new one, working for him. Bray would get coffee there every morning so that he could see Becs and her smile. Becs worked in the coffee shop in Bray's building. I cant let the other soccer moms know what Im up to or the guys at work for that matter. ![]() Becs (Rebecca) is a curvy, sassy bombshell from the wrong side of the tracks and a virgin. Bray is a gorgeous, obsessive, billionaire alpha and a virgin. There are a lot of feels in this story, so be prepared. Becs and Bray were awesome characters and you could really relate to their feelings. ![]() ![]() Now all of a sudden it Only shows up in a totally different state and with exact name search. I have been without my listing for a few months now and have NO calls coming in from it. If you search Locksmith Independence, KS it shows up on the maps. If you search Locksmith Matthews, NC my listing does not show up at all. Keep in mind the GMB is in Matthews, NC All my service areas and the actual map show the correct areas. Now if I search my business name under the auto populate I see it with Independence, KS on the listing. Smashed was my personal fave, Tomie is also incredible Shiver is a good place to start if you are just getting into his books, it was the. I pretty much do not have any traffic, views or calls now.
